At Skill Stork International School, every student is acknowledged, esteemed, and presented with challenges. Skill Stork International School follows a unique approach to the course schedule, with a five-day repetition cycle, allowing students to focus on eight 40-minute classes. Our aim is to encourage students to delve deep into their chosen subjects each day, steering away from rigid transitions and the constraints of the clock. This approach provides a broader space for self-discovery and exploration of their academic interests.

In addition to the core year-long classes, Skill Stork International School offers a diverse array of elective choices. These include options such as visual and performing arts, robotics, Model UN, and more. Our summative assessments are designed to evaluate students' understanding and skills at the end of a unit. Based on the IB MYP's rigorous assessment criteria, these tasks challenge students to apply their knowledge in creative, analytical, and real-world contexts.

Our summative assessments promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflection, ensuring students End of Year 5 Assessments The Middle School embraces both internal and optional external assessments, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of your child's growth and capabilities.

External Assessment: The Personal Project A hallmark of the Middle School, journey is the Personal Project, undertaken by each student in their final year. This project is a testament to their ability to conduct independent work, producing a truly personal and creative piece over an extended period. External validation by the IB adds credibility to this summative review of their skills and accomplishments.

Optional eAssessment for Comprehensive Certification Skill Stork International School has the option to register for eAssessment, an opportunity for students to earn a formal, internationally recognized certificate if they meet the success criteria. This eAssessment includes two types of examinations:

  • ePortfolios of Coursework: Students compile a digital portfolio showcasing their coursework. This includes a compulsory ePortfolio for the Personal Project, highlighting their journey and achievements.
  • On-Screen Examinations: Rigorous on-screen examinations, lasting between one hour and 45 minutes to two hours, offer a dynamic way to assess knowledge across various subject groups.
